The Spark Youth Robotics Club has an organized team structure that creates an effective alongside comfortable work atmosphere. All the members of SYRC are dedicated and passionate!
For the overall structure of the team, it is comprised towards 3 subteams; Software, Mechanical, Business & Outreach. More details on each subteams goals and missions throughout the season can be found under the subpage this "About" page.
For every competition we attend, the team aim towards Gracious Professionalism to better represent who we are as a team, and the community we represent.
Aside from competing at competitions with the intention to achieve better results, we also care hugely about community impact and how we can make a difference to the Ottawa Region. Throughout 2023-present, we have hosted many classroom workshops across multiple schools, some of which include: Briargeen Public School, W. Erskine Johnston Public School, Knoxdale Public School, etc.
As a team, we also provide Youth Robotics opportunities called the First Lego League Program, where students get to experience the thrill of building robots from Ages 4-14! More information and registration regarding to FLL can be found under the "Mentorship" page, if interested.
Thanks to the hard work of each member, SYRC is a well-coordinated team that is ready for any challenge!!! Our solid team structure allows members to balance different jobs and provides a friendly environment for everyone.
