Business & Outreach:
The business & outreach team focuses on building connections with the local community, promoting STEM opportunities to students in all grades! We also strive to be more advocative for FIRST using informative information on different social media platforms!
During Build Season, the Business & Outreach subteam is divided up into 6 separate groups, which includes:
Website:
The website group keeps the website updated with relevant information about the team, with objectives like updating the news, blogs, reallocating registration for FLL programs, making updates to formatting and aesthetics, etc.
Sponsorship:
The sponsorship group contacts and emails interested companies for collaborations and tier sponsorship levels, alongside making interesting sponsorship packages to view! They also pitch in ideas on how to provide more recognition and appreciation to show gratitude from their support.
Event Planning:
The event planning group creates fun team-building events which bond all subteams together to create a fun experience for all! They also ensure a smooth procedure for competition, as they navigate and book hotel places, foods, coach buses, at an affordable price.
Branding:
The branding group generates many different merchandise and designs for the team! Some examples include: T-Shirts, Sweaters, Pins, New Artwork Designs, etc. Most importantly they also design cute drawings for our Mascot, Sharkira!
Media:
The media group regulates and uploads funny content on many different social media platforms alongside updates on each subteam’s progress throughout the season. They always make sure to follow up with the latest trends, ensuring that Sparkling H2O is always riding along with the waves! 😎
